STAGES
Across 14 unique stages, music, arts and culture come together. From headline moments to grassroots discoveries, late‑night fun to quiet moments, our stages are designed to encourage wandering and curiosity.
Often described as the Glastonbury of Scotland, what truly sets Belladrum apart is the sheer variety of experiences on offer.
You might find yourself in a field‑wide singalong, stumble into a woodland saloon, catch your new favourite band before lunchtime, then end the night somewhere completely unexpected. Every stage has its own personality, loyal following and reason and together they create that very special Belladrum Festival magic.
You’ll spot it straight away, our iconic tartan heart hanging proudly at the bottom of Hot House Field. This is the beating heart of Belladrum, built for big moments with plenty of room for everyone to come together. Expect headline sets, big festival energy and our much loved mass singalong on Saturday night, a beautiful moment of togetherness that closes the weekend and never fails to give goosebumps.
Hot House Main Stage
Set within the stunning Italian Gardens, the Garden Stage is one of Belladrum’s most cherished spaces. Once the festival’s original Main Stage many moons ago, it still holds a special place in our (and our audiences) hearts.
You can dive into the buzz at the front or settle in for the evening on the grassy banks, the perfect place to cosy up and enjoy performances from a more relaxed vantage point as the sun goes down.
Garden Stage
One of our tented stages, Grassroots is where folk, roots, acoustic music and singer‑songwriters get to shine. It’s a feel‑good space by day, often transforming into a lively home for tribute acts and crowd‑pleasing sets as night falls, the perfect place to sing along and maybe even discover something completely new.
Grassroots Stage
Seedlings Stage
Seedlings is Belladrums dedicated platform for emerging and new artists and an essential stop for music lovers who enjoy discovering talent early. This stage has an impressive legacy with the likes of Lewis Capaldi, Sam Fender and Twin Atlantic all making early appearances here. You never know who you might catch before they become huge!
Venus Fly Trap
Our entertainment tent is packed with fun, all weekend long. Inside the Venus Fly Trap you’ll find everything from wrestling and game shows to family‑friendly singalongs and interactive entertainment. Cabaret and comedy, and so much more. We announce the full run-down ahead of the festival across social media, in good time for you to start making plans.
Step into our steampunk‑themed world at Burke & Hare. Yep, you did read that right - there’s even a steampunk stage. This stage delivers a mix of bands and, all accompanied by real ale and a wonderfully eccentric crowd. It’s a favourite for those who like their music with a twist. Take a look around and you might spot some hand-made décor hanging around , curtesy of the incredible John Mcgeoch who’s been curating and taking care of this stage since Bella began.
Burke & Hare Stage
Trailer Trash
Hidden away in the wooded dell area, Trailer Trash is home to a lovingly crafted wooden saloon and a full weekend of country music. Yeehaw!
Intimate, characterful and packed with charm, guaranteed to have you toe tapping.
The Potting Shed Stage
Running in tandem with Trailer Trash, the Potting Shed Stage adds to the woodland atmosphere with a complementary programme of artists and late‑night energy. We have many attendees who come to Belladrum and find themselves hanging out here all weekend long.
Tomatin Bothy
An unassuming wooden shed with a tin roof, sitting right in the middle of a field, and packed to the rafters all weekend long. Quite literally!
The Tomatin Whisky team take over here, serving up drinks and their signature whisky cocktails alongside secret sessions from artists popping up for surprise, intimate sets. Blink and you’ll miss something special.
Bella Bar Stage
A small outdoor stage with one of the most vibrant atmospheres on site. Bella Bar is all about late‑night singalongs and feel‑good energy. It’s loud, it’s friendly, and it’s almost impossible not to get swept up in the party on your way passed!
Ice House Stage
Cool in every sense of the word. Ice House is the home of jazz and blues at Belladrum, offering smooth sounds, and a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for dipping in and out of throughout the day and evening.
Verb Garden
Verb Garden celebrates the spoken word in all its forms. Here you’ll find talks, presentations, book readings, discussions and special appearances from artists and creatives. It’s a place for thought, storytelling and inspiration, a quieter but equally powerful part of our music + creative arts festival.
Free Range Folk Stage
Set within the walled garden area, the Free Range Folk Stage is a beautifully intimate acoustic space, made up of an old upturned boat as its focal point. Expect stripped-back performances in amongst a beautiful setting.
