Belladrum Festival is a homegrown, family friendly festival that brings you top musical acts, comedy, cabaret, spoken word, dance, drag, and even wrestling. We are as inclusive with our programming as you are in your attitude and we love welcoming festival goers of all ages. Here at Bella, we take care of each other and our surroundings with the kind of hospitality you only experience in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. It’s the perfect place to make new friends.

  • Ticket Types:

    Weekend tickets:

    Weekend tickets grant access to the festival arena and includes camping from Thursday 0800 - Sunday 1300.

    If you have purchased a caravan/ campervan or glamping pitch, you will also need to purchase a weekend ticket per person to access the festival.

    Day tickets:

    We offer Friday & Saturday, and Saturday only day tickets. These include access to the festival arena. Camping is also included, for Friday & Saturday ticketholders, you can camp from the Friday night, for Saturday ticketholders, you can camp Saturday night only.

    We do not offer Thursday or Friday only tickets.

    Child (12 and under) tickets:

    Bring the kids for only £12 + booking fees. We operate a guardianship policy and identification scheme, find out more under the Children and Guardianship Tab.

    We do not offer family, group or concession tickets.

    Club Clan Bella:

    Looking for a little bit of luxury and escapism? Club Clan Bella is tucked away in the enchanted Wooded Dell area of the festival, near by the Trailer Trash, Garden and Ice House Stages. Equipped with its own adult and kids entertainment, bars and complimentary caffeine and refreshments, shelter and outdoor seating, games, posh loos and refresh area plus much more.

    Club Clan Bella tickets must be purchased to access this area. Please note, children cannot be left unsupervised within Club Clan Bella. Children under 4 go free.

    Ticket Terms & Conditions:

    All our tickets (minus car parking passes) are digital QR codes. You can access your tickets via your Gigantic account created when booking your tickets. You can log in here or track your order here using your booking reference. We recommend downloading or printing your tickets in advance of the festival.

    Booking fees:

    All tickets are subject to booking fees.

    Safe Ticket Buying:

    We highly recommend purchasing directly through our website and via our ticketing partner Gigantic. Please beware of unauthorised ticket agents and untrustworthy sites as we cannot guarantee the authenticity of these tickets. We strongly advise customers to not buy tickets from sellers on auction or social media sites and to never to part with funds unless tickets are in the hand and known to be genuine. Tickets resold anywhere other than via our approved method are sold and acquired in breach of our terms and conditions. We monitor our social media channels and block scam accounts however please be aware of scams when discussing tickets on social media.

    Do you offer ticket refunds?

    As per our ticketing terms and conditions, we do not offer refunds or exchanges.

    How do I transfer a ticket to someone?

    If you would like to change the name on your order, please head to www.gigantic.com, log in and click “Manage Account” to change your details free of charge instantly.

    Does my e-ticket need my name on it?

    If the e-ticket was bought for you as part of a multiple order by one person, try to arrive with that person or have their telephone contact details with you in case there are problems with scanning your ticket at the gate. There could be a delay getting you into the festival if the ticket won’t scan at the gate and your ID doesn’t tally with the name on the ticket. If you have acquired the ticket from someone else, see above.

    My child’s 12 & Under ticket doesn’t have their name on it; does it matter?

    No

    I’ve printed my e-ticket but the colour is odd?

    Don’t worry – so long as it can scan you will be fine.

    I cannot find my ticket - can I get another one?

  • Car Parking:

    For 2024, car parking passes need to be booked in advance. This will encourage more car sharing, manage the car park capacities and speed up entry to the festival. You will have the opportunity to select the car park most convenient for where you want to camp and a window sticker will be sent to your home address to ensure you are directed to the correct car park.

    A car parking pass provides access for one vehicle to fit within a space that is 2.4 metres wide x 4.8 metres long. No trailers or trailer tents are allowed in the car parks.

    Green entrance for Family, Clean Fields and Quiet Camping.

    Red entrance for General Camping

    White entrance for Day ticket holders and overflow for all campsites.

    Shuttle Buses:

    Leave the car at home and book onto our shuttle bus services with D&E Coaches. Buses will be running to and from Inverness, Ross-Shire and Belladrum during the festival weekend. Whether you need a single trip either way, or a return journey, travel to the festival in comfort and ease.

    Pick Up & Drop Off

    The pick up and drop off area is accessed via the red car park. Please follow directional signage.

  • There are multiple campsites to choose from to suit you and your group’s needs.

    Green Gate entry is for Family camping, Clean Fields and Quiet Camping -

    Family Campsite:

    The family campsite is aimed at families and therefore not suitable for rowdy behaviour. Young children will be present so antisocial behaviour and excessive foul language will not be tolerated. This will result in your party being relocated to the general campsite.

    Clean Fields Campsite:

    Clean Fields tickets must be booked in advance as there is a limited amount. By booking a Clean Field Camping ticket, you are agreeing to our Clean Fields commitment for a cleaner, more sustainable and community campsite. Find out more here.

    Quiet Camping – this is for people who prefer to be away from the noise and bustle of even the family campsite.

    Red Gate entry is for General Camping.

    General Camping:

    This campsite is aimed at general festival-goers looking to make the most of the whole weekend. This is where to camp if you want to stay up a bit later, catching up with your new friends.

    All our campsites have toilets, showers and water points as standard. Don’t forget to bring your refillable water bottle!

    Accessible camping/campervan area:

    For those with accessible/mobility requirements, we have a dedicated campsite/ campervan area within close proximity to the main festival arena and campsite welfare who will be on hand to support you. Please let us know in your application if you require power or access to fridges for medication. The accessible camping car park is right next to the campsite.     Glamping:

    We have a variety of glamping options at Belladrum. For more information, see glamping tab below.

    I have bought tickets but I don’t want to camp – can I get a reduction on my ticket price?

    No, tickets include camping however this is optional.

    Gate times:

    Gates & campsites will open from 0800 on the Thursday. The arenas will open around 12 noon (subject to change).

    Box Offices are located at each campsite gate and the campervan field if you have any ticketing queries.

    Are we allowed camp fires?

    Absolutely not! For the safety of everyone on site, if any open fires are seen - they must be reported to a member of festival staff. Anyone starting a fire will be approached by our security team and fire service and may be asked to leave the event.

    Can I bring a gas camping stove or portable BBQ?

    Yes, camping stoves and BBQs with legs that do not leave behind any damage to the ground are allowed but only if used safely and correctly. Disposable BBQs are not allowed.

    If you have any issues within the campsites our helpful stewards can assist you. First aid and welfare services can be found near the accessible campsite and within the main arena.

  • Purchasing a campervan or caravan pass does not grant you access to the festival itself. Every person staying within the campervan or caravan also needs to purchase a Weekend Camping ticket. Campervan/caravan pitch tickets are per caravan/campervan, not per person. Buy your tickets here.

    Can people sleep in a tent next to my campervan/ caravan?

    No, Health and safety regulations do not allow tents to be slept in amongst vehicles.

    Can I drop my caravan and leave site with my car?

    Yes, but if you do, your car will not be allowed back into the caravan/campervan field until Sunday to collect your caravan. It will have to be parked in the white car park where you will need to purchase an additional car parking ticket. You will then need to make your way on foot to the campervan field when the arena is open.

    Can cars park in the caravan area?

    Not unless they are/were attached to caravans as the main towing vehicle. We do not have a car park in the campervan/caravan area,

    Is there electrical hook-up for caravans/campervans?

    Yes, you can buy an additional electrical hook-up ticket allowing you one connection to one 16amp 240v blue standard caravan site supply plug per pitch.

    Are trailer tents allowed?

    No.

    Can I sleep in the back of my van in this area?

    No, not unless your van is fully converted. A converted van must have fitted sleeping and fitted cooking or washing facilities – standard vans, horseboxes etc. will be refused entry and sent on to car parks where no sleeping in vehicles is allowed and tickets will not be refunded.

  • Arrival and departure times

    Gates to campsites will open from 8am on Thursday. The arenas will open around 12 noon (subject to change).

    Those with Wednesday early entry tickets for campervan/caravan can gain entry from 4pm and final entry at 9pm.

    The campsites must be clear by 1300 latest on the Sunday.

    How late can I arrive?

    22:00 Thursday and Friday, 20:00 Saturday.

    Admission:

    You must have a valid e-ticket to obtain an official wristband to enter the event. Your purchase of a ticket and admission to the event signifies your acceptance of the terms and conditions on the ticket and on the event website. There is no re-admission without a valid wristband. Lost, stolen, altered or incomplete tickets will be invalid and will not be exchanged for wristbands or allowed entry. Holders of wristbands that have been lost, stolen or tampered with in any way will not be granted admission. Wristbands are non-transferable.

    Can I leave and return later?

    Yes, but if you leave after midnight any night, you won’t be able to get back in until 0800.

    How far will we have to walk from the car parks to the campsites?

    This will very much depend on when you arrive and where you want to camp; your walk could be anything from 100m to 1000m. Please remember the ground is mostly grass and may be uneven, wet or muddy.

    Can I leave my car if I am unsafe to drive?

    Yes, you can leave your car where it is parked and collect it by 10am Tuesday 30th July.

    Are there buses to the event?

    Yes! Leave the car at home and book onto our shuttle bus services with D&E Coaches. Buses will be running to and from Inverness, Ross-Shire and Belladrum during the festival weekend. Whether you need a single trip either way, or a return journey, travel to the festival in comfort and ease.

  • Belladrum will take place, come rain or shine so please be prepared for all kinds of weather. We recommend you pack:

    - Waterproofs

    - comfortable walking shoes and wellies

    - sunscreen

    - a hat

    - valid photo ID

    - contactless payment card

    - your phone (with your ticket downloaded as mobile internet signal can be patchy)

    - fully charged battery pack

    - reusable water bottle

    Belladrum takes place on the beautiful Belladrum Estate on a mixture of grass, tracks and permanent pathways. The ground can be uneven and depending on the weather can be muddy, dusty or waterlogged.

  • Providing you are 18 or over, you can take alcohol into the campsites. Glass is prohibited, please decant before you arrive.

    Alcohol cannot be taken from the campsite to the arena but can be taken to the campsite from the arena.

    All bars operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you look younger than 25, please carry your ID with you at the festival.

    All bars are now cashless so make sure you bring a contactless card for payment.

    No drugs (other than prescription medication in your name) or New Psychoactive Substances previously known as ‘legal highs’ are allowed at the festival. Drug enforcement laws are as applicable on site as anywhere else in the country. Police officers will be on site and will deal with drug offences in accordance with national guidelines. If you engage in the unlawful supply of drugs, it is likely that you will be arrested. Neither anti-social nor illegal behaviour will be tolerated and participants will leave themselves liable to eviction from the site.

  • You are not allowed to bring alcohol in glass bottles, paper lanterns, flares, fireworks, drugs, nitrous oxide, drones, weapons and dangerous objects, professional audio or visual recording equipment.

    Glass:

    Glass is not allowed anywhere on the festival site. Your bags will be searched on entry and any found will have to be returned to a vehicle, decanted into a plastic container or thrown away. Food and perfume in glass is allowed but please try not to bring it – the less glass on site, the less chance of it breaking and injuring someone.

    Medicine in glass vessels is allowed.

    Animals:

    For health and safety reasons we do not permit animals into the festival, except registered assistance dogs.

    Drones:

    Unauthorised drones are prohibited to fly anywhere over the festival as they pose a hazard to our patrons. Any unauthorised flights will be reported to Police Scotland.

  • The theme for 2024 is LOVE. As we celebrate Belladrum’s 20th year we look forward to seeing all your wonderful costumes.

  • Guardianship Policy & Guardianship Identification:

    Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an over 25 at the ratio of two under 18s to one over 25. There are two age-identifying wristbands; one for children 12 and under and one for 13-18 year olds. There will be a full ID operation in place at the gates. Guardianship checks will also be performed at the gates. All those attending with under 18 wristbands will be issued a plain white wristband and guardians will be asked to write their contact details on the inside of this wristband to facilitate safeguarding whilst at the festival.

    What do I do if I lose my Child at the festival?

    Make contact with the nearest steward or go to the Festival Welfare Office.

    Is there a lower age limit on children attending the festival?

    No. All ages are welcome!

    Do I need a 12 & Under Ticket for a babe in arms?

    Yes, everyone attending the festival requires a ticket.

    Do I need ID for my 12 or under?

    Yes, if your child looks older than 12 but has a 12 & under ticket you will need to provide a valid I.D.

    What constitutes a valid ID?

    We accept as I.D: Passports, Driving Licences, Young Scot Cards, Citizen Cards or any other photo I.D with a PASS logo. For children under 12 if you don’t have a photo ID we will accept a copy of their birth certificate.

    My child turns 13 during the festival – do they need a full ticket?

    Not if your child’s birthday is up to and including the Thursday of the festival

    Is there family camping?

    Yes, the family campsite is aimed at families with young children and any rowdiness, bad language or loudness early or late in the day isn’t welcome and may result in your group being relocated to General Camping.

    Can an under 18 with a weekend ticket enter the festival alone?

    No, in order to enter the festival under 18s must be accompanied by someone 25 or over. There is a limit of 2 under 18’s per accompanying over 25’s.

    Can I bring in a small trolley/ collapsible chair/ food/ umbrella/ baby buggy/ unopened soft drinks and water?

    You can take small trolleys, collapsible chairs, food, umbrellas, baby buggies and unopened soft drinks and water into the arena, however, in order to prevent trip hazards for festival goers, any chairs and trolleys set up in the Hot House fields must be either removed or relocated to the sides of the space by 7pm each day.

    For those wishing to attend Belladrum and apply for accessible camping/campervan, accessible facilities and/or a free Carer ticket, you must purchase your festival ticket first. You will then need to apply using the Belladrum application form here.

    To provide a Companion/PA ticket free of charge, there does need to be at least 1 full-priced adult ticket in the party. If the Access Customer is under the age of 12 and is the only paying ticket holder in the party, they will require 1 adult ticket to be approved for a Companion/PA.

    Please note that the accessible campsite/campervan field and our accessible platforms are a specific capacity, and once reached, you will not be guaranteed a place. We recommend purchasing your ticket and completing your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

    Do I need to purchase a car parking pass if I have booked a space in the accessible campsite?

    No – parking for one car is included in your accessible campsite booking, you will be sent a specific car parking pass for the accessible campsite parking area in the post. Parking passes for any additional cars must be purchased in advance for one of the other car parks as parking within the accessible area is limited.

    I have a Blue Badge; do I still need a parking pass?

    If you are booked into accessible camping you will receive one car parking pass, as above.

    All blue badge holders will need to apply for a parking pass by emailing accessibility@tartanheartfestival.co.uk

    You will not be charged for a blue badge parking pass but these must be booked in advance.

    Blue Badge parking for day visitors will be located in the RED car park.

    The nearest blue badge parking for those in family, quiet or clean fields camping is in the GREEN car park. The nearest blue badge parking for those in general camping is in RED car park.

    Where is best for me to camp/ pitch my campervan if I have accessible/mobility requirements?

    We have a dedicated accessible campsite and campervan area with parking only a short distance from the main arena. Spaces within these areas must be booked in advance by emailing accessibility@tartanheartfestival.co.uk

    Can I bring a carer/ companion/ support worker?

    Yes, if you are unable to attend the event without the support of a carer, you can apply for a free carers ticket via the application form.

    Do I need to stay in the accessible campsite or can I stay with my friends elsewhere?

    If you wish to camp in other areas of the festival, you do not need to apply for accessible camping/campervan site. However, if you need access to accessible facilities such as toilets, you can apply for an accessible facilities pass by emailing accessibility@tartanheartfestival.co.uk.

    Please note, the campervan site involves a longer journey over uneven ground to get to the main arena.

    Are all areas of the festival accessible by wheelchair?

    Yes, and there are special accessible viewing areas at the larger stages; however, as this is an outdoor event, the ground can be uneven and conditions could become muddy and slippery and in some areas.

    I've booked a glamping package, can this be set up in the accessible campsite?

    No, all glamping tents are set up in the glamping field and cannot be set up in the accessible campsite. Glamping is located the other side of The Dell, at the edge of the festival where ground conditions mean a longer journey including a fairly steep hill to get to and from the main arena.

  • What is glamping?

    Glamping is a luxury type of camping that includes facilities and accommodation considered more comfortable than traditional camping. What does a glamping package include? We have a few glamping options thanks to our wonderful suppliers Limelife and Pitch Village. Choose between bell tents and pre-pitched tents, and whether you want the full package with bed, bedding, and extras included, or a blank canvas. You can find out what is included in each package on the ticket page.

    Do glamping tickets include festival tickets?

    No – you will need to purchase weekend festival tickets separately to enter the festival.

    Can I bring my own gazebo if I've booked a glamping package?

    A very limited amount of pre-booked 4m x 4m spaces suitable for 3m x 3m gazebos will be available from our suppliers with glamping package purchases, at an added price. If gazebo space has not been booked, you will not be able to put up a gazebo.

    Do I need to buy a car parking pass if I have purchased a Glamping package?

    No – car parking is included in your glamping package.

    How many cars can I bring?

    We guarantee a maximum of 1 car parking space per 2 people booked into glamping packages, you will need to let our glamping suppliers know how many cars you are bringing – you will then receive car parking window stickers to display in your vehicles by post around two weeks before the event.

    Do glamping tents have power?

    No, individual tents do not have power, however, you can charge your phone, grab a cuppa and give yourself a blowdry in the pamper tents!

    I have accessibility/ mobility requirements, can I book a glamping package?

    You can absolutely book a glamping package, however, please note that glamping tents cannot be pitched in the accessible campsite, they are pre-pitched in the Glamping campsite. Glamping is located the other side of The Dell, at the edge of the festival where ground conditions mean a longer journey including a fairly steep hill to get to and from the main arena.

  • Clean Fields is a campsite where ticketholders agree to keep the area clean and clear all rubbish and camping gear at the end of the event. You also look after your fellow campers and keep the noise right down.

    This is a pre-bookable camping area and is very popular.

    By booking your clean fields camping ticket, you are opting into the agreement to:

    - Take all your camping equipment home

    - Remove tent pegs from the ground

    - Clear up and dispose of all rubbish in the bins provided

    - Don’t over pack, take only what you need for the festival

    Your group may be relocated if you don’t follow the rules.

  • Belladrum boasts 12 music and entertainment stages and a whole host of enchanted spaces and nooks and crannies to explore.

    Stage times can be found on our social media channels on the lead up to the event. Once on site, you can find them on our souvenir laminate lanyards, available from the merchandise stall, in the official festival newspaper which can be found across the arena and written up on our chalk boards at each stage.

    In the arenas you will find:

    - Food traders offering a huge variety of tasty treats

    - A variety of bars to suit every taste (please remember all bars are now cashless)

    - The Coop

    - A hand-picked selection of stalls and traders selling crafts and trinkets

    - Charity partners

    - The kids’ area featuring crafts, workshops, games and more

    - First aid and welfare points

    - Toilets

    - Water points – don’t forget your refillable water bottle!

    - Cash machines (although contactless is king here at Belladrum)

  • A wide range of food and drink is available on site including many local favourite food traders whose offerings cater for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free as well as traditional Scottish and festival fare. Food traders will take a mixture of card and cash payments (cash payments taken at discretion of the trader).

    You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks (including alcohol) into the campsites. Please do not bring any glass bottles to the event. Decant your drinks into plastic containers in advance to ensure no delays getting you into the campsite.

    Food may be taken from the campsites into the arena and there is a Coop located at the top of the Hot House field for replenishments and anything you may have forgotten.

    Alcohol is not allowed to be taken from the campsites into the arena.

    There are plenty of bars within the arena and we are happy to host many local beers and spirits at Belladrum. All bars are cashless so make sure you bring a contactless card for payments.

    Drinking water is available for free at any of the many water points within the arenas and campsites. Don’t forget to bring your refillable water bottle!

    Are there cash machines?

    ATMs are available within the arena, however please note that all bars at Belladrum are cashless.

  • Any merchandise will be available at our merchandise tent within the main arena. Selected merch will be available to pre-order for collection at the festival. Keep an eye on our social media channels for further details.

  • All our campsites have toilets, showers and water points as standard but why not skip the queues and indulge in posh loos with Friendly Flush?

    Friendly Flush are 24 hour serviced toilets and refresh area - you can buy a weekend pass on our tickets page while stocks last. Located in family camping, there is no access from Glamping or Caravans between 0200 & 0900 when the arena is closed.

    Do they have showers?

    Yes. Friendly Flush provide showers on a pay-as-you-go basis. Plus a refresh area with hairdryers, GHDs and vanity stations.

    Accessible toilets:

    Accessible toilets are located in multiple locations across the festival site, at every toilet block and near accessible viewing platforms. Locations will be highlighted on site maps closer to the festival dates.

  • Belladrum has its own EE mast servicing the festival, however, mobile networks can still run slowly on site. Be prepared and bring your spare battery pack and pre-arrange meeting times and places with your friends.

    Club Clan Bella ticketholders will have access to free charging points within the Club Clan Bella area.

  • How do I get my lost property back during the event/ where do I hand in lost property?

    Please go to the Festival Welfare Office located next to the Festival Hospital; the festival accepts no responsibility for lost or stolen property.

    How do I get my lost property back after the event?

    All unclaimed lost property will be retained by Police Scotland in Inverness (either 101 or 0845 600 5703).

  • That’s right, you can get hitched at the festival! The Temple at Belladrum has hosted hundreds of weddings and we’d love to be part of your special day.

  • By entering Belladrum Festival you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. All ticket holders consent to filming and sound recording as members of the audience.

    Your presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with Belladrum festival and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.

    By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees of such record media.

    You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent.
