Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival Accessibility

Please take the time to familiarise yourself with this accessibility guide to ensure you are aware of all the key information. This will help you prepare and give you an understanding of what to expect when you get to the festival. More specific information, including travel, timings, key contacts and locations, will be sent to you closer to the festival dates.

The quiet areas are areas within the arena that we have identified as being out of the heavy footfall and away from particularly noisy stages, where we would encourage people to head to if they need a breather. We are looking at a ‘chill out’ tent down in the Dell which will just be simply somewhere to sit that’s enclosed and quiet.

All of the accessible ticket types detailed below can be booked here. If you can’t see one or more options listed then unfortunately they have sold out.

Our accessible campsite is located in close proximity to the main arena to provide those with accessible and mobility needs. You will receive up to 1 parking pass per pitch for the accessible car park, located next to this campsite. Accessible camping pitches are 5m wide x 6m deep.

Other camping options

General Camping

This campsite is aimed at general festival-goers looking to make the most of the whole weekend. This is where to camp if you want to stay up a bit later, catching up with your new friends.

Family Camping

The family campsite at Belladrum Festival is thoughtfully designed to cater exclusively to families, guaranteeing a secure and inclusive environment for all attendees. With the focus on accommodating young children, it is crucial to uphold a considerate atmosphere by refraining from any disruptive or inappropriate behaviour. Swift action will be taken to address any instances of antisocial conduct to preserve the comfort and enjoyment of all campers. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in the need to relocate your group to the general campsite area for the overall well-being of everyone involved.

Quiet Camping

This campsite is for people who prefer to be away from the noise and bustle of even the family campsite.

Clean Fields

Clean Fields tickets must be booked in advance as there is a limited amount. By booking a Clean Field Camping ticket, you are agreeing to our Clean Fields commitment for a cleaner, more sustainable and community campsite. Find out more here.

Glamping

We have a variety of glamping options at Belladrum. For more information, see here.

While we make every effort to make all campsites accessible, you should bear in mind that the Glamping area is a further distance from the main arena.

Glamping is located the other side of The Dell, at the edge of the festival where ground conditions mean a longer journey including a fairly steep hill to get to and from the main arena.

General Campervan/Caravan

See here for more information about the campervan/caravan site.

While we make every effort to make all campsites accessible, you should bear in mind that the Campervan area is a further distance from the main arena.

Blue Badge parking

If you are not staying in the accessible campsite, we can provide Blue Badge parking in one of the general car parks.

We will send you a parking pass free of charge, but these must be booked in advance. Please note, to use these spaces, you must be able to display a Blue Badge upon parking.

Carer tickets

If you are unable to attend the event without a carer, PA or companion, we offer a complimentary carers ticket to support customers while at the festival. Please note that all accessible orders must include at least one adult paid for ticket.

Please note we have a fixed allocation of personal assistant tickets which are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Accessible Viewing Platform

The raised viewing platforms located at the Hot House, Garden and Grass Roots Stages are available for wheelchair users and those with restricted mobility. Seats are provided for those who need one.

If you need access to the viewing platforms, please select this option when booking.

Only the approved customer and their essential companion will have access to the raised viewing platform in order to accommodate as many customers as possible.

All raised viewing platforms have ramped access, wheelchair-accessible toilets. Limited seating is also available at each platform.

Viewing platforms may get busy, please note that these are operated on a first come first served basis.

Please note that viewing platforms are not covered (except in Grassroots which is inside a tent) so please dress appropriately for all weather conditions.

Accessible Toilets

Wheelchair-accessible and standard toilets for accessible customers are located across the arena and at the viewing platforms. If you need access to the accessible toilets please select this option when booking.

Quiet Zones

There will be quiet areas within the arena that we will identify on our arena map for 2026 as being out of the heavy footfall and away from particularly noisy stages, where we would encourage people to head to if they need a breather. Please keep an eye on our social media for our arena map when it becomes available.

Medical Appliance Charging

The Welfare tent can provide charging for medical appliances. Please note that this is strictly for medical appliances only.

Fridge for Medication Storage

Refrigerated medication storage is available in the Medical tent.

We recommend bringing a copy of your doctor’s letter or prescription. Please keep all medication in its original boxes.

Introducing the Access Card Scheme

We are pleased to be working with Nimbus Disability, utilising their Access Card Scheme and Digital Access Pass system to provide our customers with a more consistent and improved experience when accessing necessary support.

This scheme is designed for all customers who require adjustments to make their visit more comfortable, such as essential companion tickets, raised viewing platforms, accessible toilets and other reasonable adjustments. By partnering with Nimbus Disability, a leading authority on accessible ticketing run by and for disabled people, we can better understand and meet your access requirements in a consistent and secure manner. This also helps to protect these provisions from potential misuse.

Through this scheme, you can apply for a free Digital Access Pass specifically for use with Belladrum, or you can choose to apply for a full Access Card for broader recognition.

What is A FREE Digital Access Pass?

  • You can submit a free application for a Digital Access Pass via Nimbus.

  • As part of the application, you will need to provide relevant evidence and a narrative about your access requirements, allowing Nimbus to allocate the appropriate symbols representing the barriers you face.

  • Once your application is approved, your Digital Access Pass will be valid for three years. You will receive a digital ID number.

  • You can use your Digital Access Pass ID Number to access facilities and make bookings with Belladrum, streamlining the process and potentially allowing you to book access provisions online.

What is The Access Card?

  • The Access Card is a universal way of conveying your access requirements that clearly communicates your requirements to thousands of organisations, venues, events, and ticketing systems across the UK and beyond.

  • It costs just £15 for three years, you can choose to upgrade your free registration to a full Access Card through the application process..

  • The Access Card features symbols that discreetly highlight the barriers you face and the reasonable adjustments you may need, such as level access, essential companion, or assistance with visual or auditory information

  • Presenting your Access Card or its unique identification number can often reduce the need for repeated explanations and the submission of extensive personal documentation.

  • The Access Card can also work online with ticketing systems to unlock necessary access facilities.

  • The Access Card app provides a personalised directory of accessible venues.

How to Apply

To apply for your Belladrum Digital Access Pass, please click here . You will be directed to a simple application form where you can upload any validating evidence and provide a description of your access requirements.

Already Have an Access Card or a Belladrum Digital Access Pass?

  • To use your Access Card or your Belladrum Digital Access Pass Number (found on your confirmation email), please click through to the booking page and click the blue ‘Accessibility Tickets’ banner (just below the venue and door time) and enter your Access Pass Number to view the accessible ticket selection.
