Miele’s are back, and they’ve launched a new flavour to celebrate!
We’re super excited to be celebrating a major milestone this year at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival… it’s our 21st birthday! And what’s more, a sweet collaboration has been announced between two businesses involved in this years landmark event - Miele’s Gelateria and local Highland charity HALO (Highland Action for Little Ones).
Miele's Gelateria, which has recently been awarded the prestigious “Primary Producer" award at the Highlands and Islands Food and Drink Awards is widely known for it’s home-made, fun flavours, has just unveiled a brand-new Birthday Cake flavour in celebration of our birthday which is available for purchase at their Inverness Parlour.
Even more excitingly, with every scoop sold between Thursday 3rd of July and Saturday 13th of July, a donation will be made directly to this years Belladrum Charity Of The Year, HALO.
Customers who purchase the limited-edition flavour will also be entered into a raffle to win a pair of tickets to this summer’s Belladrum Festival, taking place from the 31st of July and with artists including Paul Heaton, Supergrass, Texas, Tom Walker, Natasha Bedingfield, Tide Lines and many more.
“The launch of this special flavour immediately sparked a brilliant idea to not only celebrate our 21st celebrations with our festival gelato partners, but also came as a great opportunity to raise awareness and donations for our official charity partner this year. HALO do incredible work across the area providing vital support to families in need. ”
Cairan Macleod, Marketing at Belladrum Festival
This community-powered initiative offers locals a chance to support a meaningful cause, support local business, all while celebrating one of Scotland’s best-loved festivals.
“We’re delighted to bring a smile to people’s faces with this new flavour and to support HALO in the incredible work they do for children and families across the Highlands, this comes with the news that we’ll return to Belladrum this year serving up our home-made gelato across the site.”
David Miele, Director of Miele’s Gelateria.
Highland Action for Little Ones (Halo) is a dedicated, community-driven charity supporting children and families facing hardship right across the Highlands. Since launching in December 2022, Halo has already provided essential items and care packages to over 3,500 children and families, ensuring those in need have access to basics such as clothing, nappies, baby equipment, school essentials and more.
Proceeds from this campaign will directly support Halo’s vital work, helping the charity reach even more families across the region with support when it’s needed the most.
“We’re hugely grateful to both Belladrum and Miele’s for choosing HALO as their charity partner. Partnerships like these are so important to charities like ours as we continue to raise awareness, not only for fundraising but to allow potential service-users to know who we are, and what we do”
Lauren Thomson - Founder & Trustee of HALO.
Now in its 21st year, we’re continuing to champion creativity, community, and local partnerships. With a crowd of up to 25,000 expected this July and a theme of ‘Bella Goes to the Moovies’, festivalgoers can expect a blockbuster weekend of music, family fun.
At Bella, we pride ourselves on showcasing an exciting and high quality food and drink offering on site, so this is a brilliant way to announce that Miele’s are joining us on site again in 2025. Miele’s are a well-loved family-run business, so not only do they bring something great to the festival experience for our audience, this partnership celebrates the community spirit that sits at the heart of Belladrum.
The Birthday Cake Gelato campaign will run for 10 days from Thursday 3rd of July, and the Birthday Cake flavour is available from the Inverness based Miele’s Geleteria Parlour. To take part in the raffle or to support HALO, simply visit instore and purchase a scoop of birthday cake gelato, but be quick – this is a limited release and once it’s gone, it’s gone!
