Belladrum Festival Launches Community Trust with £20,000 Fund to Support Locals
Introducing the Belladrum Festival Community Trust (BFCT)
The entire Belladrum team are very excited to be able to share the news that we have officially launched the Belladrum Festival Community Trust (SC054123), a brand-new charitable organisation that will see money generated from the festival, reinvested directly back into the local communities surrounding the festival grounds.
The first round of funding comes from the new car park pass scheme, which was initially introduced in 2024 to support improved traffic flow and encourage more sustainable travel to the event.  Thanks to you, our lovely festivalgoers, and your support of the car parking initiative, we’re delighted to announce that the fund has reached £20,000 and will now be available for community groups and local projects to apply for.
The funds are available for the communities in close proximity to Belladrum, Beauly, Kiltarlity, Kirkhill and Bunchrew and grant funding is open to applications from today - Friday10th October to Friday 12th December 2025. The Belladrum team hope to use the funding pot to support a wide range of causes across the areas from grassroots sports teams, schools and youth groups, to cultural organisations, charities and environmental projects.
“We are incredibly proud to launch the Belladrum Festival Community Trust.
Belladrum has always been rooted in the local community, and this is another way of giving back to the local villages, of which we are grateful to for their continued support, particularly on the run up to the festival and across the 3 days of events!”
Naomi Hollas – Festival Coordinator
The Community Trust follows a major overhaul of traffic management at Belladrum, after congestion challenges in 2023. We introduced car parking passes for the first time in 2024 which allowed our team to better predict and manage vehicle numbers arriving on site, while also encouraging car sharing and use of our popular shuttle bus services for a more positive environmental impact.
Applicants can request grants ranging from £250 to £2,000. The trust grants are in addition to the 200+ tickets donated via Belladrum to charities and groups throughout the year upon request, with £120,000+ being raised in 2025.
The creation of the Belladrum Festival Community Trust marks a new chapter in our continued legacy of supporting local groups and charities, ensuring the festival continues to support and celebrate the communities that make our special event in the Highlands, possible. We are extremely excited to share further information as and when we have it, and keeping you up-to-date with projects being supported.
You can find out about the BFCT on our website, here, alongside the application and guidelines.
You can also learn more about Belladrum and community support on our community webpage.
The team also wish to thank Highland Third Sector Interface (HTSI) for their ongoing support with the application and trust registration process.
With love,
Team Bella x
