Attendee Travel + Arrival Information: 2026

Well, it’s almost time, and we can’t wait to welcome you to Belladrum Festival this year.

To ensure a seamless arrival to the site, we ask you to please read the below information and study the maps thoroughly.

Belladrum takes place in the beautiful setting of the rural Highlands, which comes with its own challenges. As many of you will know, not every road is suitable for large vehicles or high levels of traffic. Therefore, we ask that you follow our suggested travel routes to avoid unnecessary congestion, prevent vehicles from getting stuck, and to avoid blocking key routes for residents.

Please read and familiarise yourself with the below information to ensure you have the best possible experience at our festival. 😊

RESPECTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY:

First and foremost - to create as little inconvenience to our local residents and communities and to make festival entry as quick and efficient as possible, please follow the instructions below:

  • Stick to our suggested routes (please see maps below)

  • Follow official event signage

  • Do not follow Google/ Apple maps - not all routes are open or suitable to festival traffic!

  • Respect our local residents and communities

  • Do not park in the local area or within resident driveways

  • Avoid stopping and blocking off entries and exits in the surrounding villages

  • Avoid smaller, back roads. They are not suitable for festival travel. Leave them clear for local residents

CAR PARKING PASS INSTRUCTIONS

If you are brining the car to Belladrum, you need to purchase your car parking pass (per vehicle) in advance of the festival. All purchased car park passes will be sent by post to your address registered on your Gigantic account approximately 2 weeks before the event.  Before travelling to Belladrum, attach your parking pass to your windscreen in the top left-hand corner of your car window in advance.

Car parking passes will be removed from the Belladrum website on Wednesday 22nd July.

If you do not buy a ticket in advance, there is no guarantee you will be able to park on-site; any available spaces will likely be furthest away from entrances.

If you miss this deadline, you can purchase a Car Parking pass from Eden Court Theatre (Bishop’s Road, Inverness, IV3 5SA) , or from the Dicksons Kia showroom at 28/34 Carsegate Road, Telford, Inverness IV3 8EX, subject to availability.

Any car parking passes leftover will be sold on the day at the higher price of £25 to cover staff time and resources. Profit from our car parking passes directly support the Belladrum Festival Community Trust.

ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Upon arrival, you will be directed to the correct car park by our traffic management team.

Prepare for natural delays; bring extra snacks, water, entertainment for the kids and your phone charger for the journey.

Please follow the organised routes highlighted below; do not rely on Google or Apple Maps. Attempting to take alternative routes or ‘shortcuts’ is more likely to result in delays or finding yourself stuck on roads not made for festival traffic.

TRAVEL ROUTES:

Belladrum Festival is located 11 miles west of Inverness. The blue route heads west from Inverness, and the red route heads southwest from Inverness.

The main routes towards the festival will be west via the A862 and A833. (blue)

The route follows the A862 from the west of Inverness city centre. Routing through Bunchrew, Rhinduie and Drumchardine, then will follow the A833 towards the Belladrum event site.

Belladrum Lodge (A1) is the Main Entrance for the festival.

Vehicles, including camping, day tickets and campervans, will enter through this entrance.

The secondary route (red) is directed via the southwest of Inverness along the A82. The route runs adjacent to Loch Ness through Lochend and Drumnadrochit. Then the route would take you onto the A831, then head north via the A833.

PEDESTRAIN ROUTES IN CAR PARKS:

Once you have parked in your designated car park, please follow the pedestrian routes to the campsite gates.

For Family Campsites 1, 2, 3 & 4, Quiet and Clean Camping, use TARTAN GATE

For all General Campsites and day ticketholders, use HEART GATE

For Family Campsites 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11 you can use EITHER GATE

Please note that during busier times (Thursday morning) you may be asked by our stewards to queue at a specific gate rather than having the option. This will not affect where you will be able to camp once you get inside, but it does support our gate team in getting people in as quickly as possible.

CAMPSITE RULES:

To help everyone enjoy their festival experience, please choose the campsite that best matches you, your group, and the type of festival experience you’re looking for.

  • General Campsite: For late-night campers and those looking for a bit more of a livelier campsite experience.

  • Family Campsite: Designed for families, particularly those with little ones and attendees looking for a calmer campsite experience.

  • There are strict noise and curfew rules with the family campsite and rowdy behaviour, excessive noise, late-night gatherings and inappropriate language are not permitted. This will result in you being asked to relocate to the general campsite.

  • Clean Fields: Our pre-bookable eco-friendly campsite. Sold out for 2026.

  • Quiet Campsite: The furthest from the arena noise with strict rules on noise.

A friendly reminder that Belladrum is incredibly proud of its family-friendly and inclusive ethos. Please respect other attendees and look after each other when you’re visiting.

Under 18’s must be camped with their guardians and remain your responsibility to supervise, even when you’re in the Bella fields. Anyone displaying disruptive or unsafe behaviour, or going against our festival guidelines, will be removed from site.
