Belladrum 2024: Important Travel Updates
We are looking forward to welcoming you to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2024.
With less than 2 months to go, please read the below information thoroughly to make sure you are familiar and comfortable with the ticketing, entry, camping and parking processes in place to make your arrival at the festival as seamless as possible.
As everyone will be aware we had some significant traffic delays throughout the Thursday at Belladrum last year. To ensure we do not see a repeat of these issues we have made some major changes to our traffic management plans including updated entry routes into the site, gate names and campsite layouts, so even if you are a seasoned Bella-goer please make sure you have thoroughly read our updated traffic arrival information, studied the attached map and planned your route to Bella.
RESPECTING OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY
In order to create as little inconvenience to our local residents and communities, and make festival entry as quick and efficient as possible, please follow the below instructions to get to Belladrum.
● Stick to our suggested routes (please see maps below)
● Follow event signage
● Do not follow Google/ Apple maps - not all routes are open to festival traffic!
● Respect our local residents and communities
● Do not park in the local area or resident driveways
● Avoid smaller, back roads. They are not suitable for festival travel. Leave them clear for local residents.

LOOKING AFTER EACH OTHER
For your safety and security, searches will be carried out as you enter the event. Belladrum operates a Zero Tolerance policy when it comes to drugs, illegal substances and items such as flares. Read our full list of prohibited items here.
● Valid ID is required for entry. We will be operating Challenge 25 at all bars.
GUARDIANSHIP
We will also be operating guardianship safeguarding checks at the gates. Keep an eye out for our guardianship team in their purple hi-vis!
● To enter the festival, all under 18’s must be accompanied by an over 25 at the ratio of two under 18s to one over 25.
● There are two age-identifying wristbands; one for children 12 and under and one for 13-18 year olds. There will be a full ID operation in place at the gates.
● Guardianship checks will be performed at the gates.
● All those attending with under 18 wristbands will be issued a plain white wristband and guardians will be asked to write their contact details on the inside of this wristband.
● Under 18’s must not be left under the responsibility of the festival - all guardians are responsible for their under 18’s at all times
● Groups of under 18’s camping alone will not be permitted. We will have increased campsite patrols, and any groups we come across will be reunited with their guardians or asked to leave the festival.
Belladrum is very proud of its family-friendly atmosphere, and anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated. Any persistent offenders will be removed from the festival site.
MEDICAL AND WELFARE
We have medical and welfare facilities in the campsites and in the arena, with a dedicated team to assist you at any time. If you feel unwell, have any concerns or questions, you need a break or perhaps some sun cream (if the weather behaves!), please speak to a member of staff. Welfare staff will be roaming the site in purple hi-vis, don’t be shy - say hello!
BE SOUND
